The international newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, reported that although the incident was two decades old, Microsoft became aware of it in late 2019. A female technician at Microsoft told the company in a letter that she had been in a physical relationship with Bill for many years. The concerned board had directed an inquiry into the matter without wasting any time. Even in a fair trial so that there is no compromise, the case is assigned to a legal entity that is not affiliated with Microsoft. Shortly afterward, Bill Gates resigned. As a result, the investigation stopped in the middle. An international news agency had earlier said that such a complaint was the reason for Bill's resignation from the post of head of Microsoft. They made the matter public, saying that Microsoft officials had ruled that Bill's relationship was inconsistent. That's why Bill was forced to resign.
